I adore shooting family portraits. I've been photographing families for almost sixteen years and every year it gets better and better.
Let's talk about location. What is special to your family? We have so many options for you to choose from. My favorite locations are of course here in Temecula and Murrieta. But, there are so many spots to choose from. From San Diego to Orange county and everything on between.
The vineyards are always a popular family portrait choice. The most beautiful times to shoot here in Temecula are between March and November. My favorite though I have to say is in September.
My studio is located in Murrieta California. Sometimes sessions take on a life of their own... Well, most of the time they do. I say bring it on! It's the only way to do it, and the best images are created that way.
Sessions include a variety of arranged of posed shots and candid photos. My favorites tend to be more natural and playful images. The ones that melt your heart.
I'm happy to create portraits for families big and small. Family reunions or the birth of a new baby.
Color harmony is very important in a family portrait. Before your session, we'll have a consultation this is when we'll talk about location, clothing choices and style.
The Temecula Bridge is a favorite of mine. A family heirloom that honors our beautiful community and the reasons that we live here.
Emotion... I want you to feel the love in this photo. I know how quickly these little people grow up. They're in your arms for a short time. And, when this little man turns 30 years old, this is the photo that he's going to ask to have for his own home. I know it!
It's important to me that Mom and Dad have amazing photos too. Natural loving photos that keep reminding you of that amazing couple that you are!
My style has always been simple. Very little props, simple color harmony, and all personality. It's classic and will be art for your home that you'll love for generations. What more could you ask for?
Pets are family too and of course, are always welcome in your family session!
They say family portrait season is in the Fall. But can I encourage you to try out the spring and summer too? We live in such an amazing place, it's beautiful all year round!
Legos make a pretty nice backdrop!
The outtakes! lol
Ok, the hug it out pose. how much do I love this? Can you tell my love language is hugs??? This is what it's about! right here.
I cried laughing when this image came up on my computer. The little guy to left, he just doesn't even care! One favorite shots ever!
