If you're involved in sports, performing arts, or other extracurricular activities, booking during the summer is especially helpful. Your schedule will likely become much busier once the school year begins, making it easier to relax and enjoy your session before the excitement of senior year gets underway.

My favorite seasons for outdoor senior portraits are spring, summer, and fall, when the natural scenery and lighting create beautiful, timeless images. During the winter months, I recommend studio sessions, where we can create modern, polished portraits in a warm and comfortable environment.

Whenever you choose to schedule your session, I recommend booking several months in advance to ensure availability and to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy your portraits, order graduation announcements, and select artwork before graduation festivities begin.

Outdoor sessions are scheduled during the hour before sunset, often referred to as the golden hour. This is when the light is soft, warm, and most flattering, creating the beautiful glow and timeless look you see throughout my portfolio.

Photographing during golden hour also helps us avoid the harsh midday sun, strong shadows, and squinting that can occur earlier in the day. The result is more natural expressions, beautiful skin tones, and elegant, light-filled portraits you'll love for years to come.

Yes, limited weekend appointments are available upon request for an additional fee. To maintain a healthy work-life balance, I reserve most weekends for my family, so weekend availability is limited and tends to book well in advance.

Whenever possible, I recommend scheduling your session on a weekday. Weekday sessions are typically more relaxed, with fewer crowds at popular locations, less competition with other photographers, and a quieter atmosphere that allows us to create beautiful, uninterrupted portraits.
